PCMark 8 is the latest version in Futuremark series of popular PC benchmarking tools. It is designed to test the performance of all types of PC, from tablets to desktops. With five separate benchmark tests plus battery life testing, Futuremark PCMark 8 helps you find the devices that offer the perfect combination of efficiency and performance. Now it combines performance testing with new battery life measurement tools. Also it includes new tests using popular applications from Microsoft and Adobe.


Futuremark PCMark 8 is a complete benchmark for home and business and can be used to test the performance of all kinds of Windows 8 PCs from lightweight tablets and notebooks to high-end desktops. PCMark 8 is also compatible with Windows 7. Ideal for testing the performance of SSDs and hybrid storage devices.

The PCMark 8 Home benchmark includes workloads that reflect common tasks for a typical home user. These workloads have low computational requirements making PCMark 8 Home suitable for testing the performance of low-cost tablets, notebooks and desktops. Home includes workloads for web browsing, writing, gaming, photo editing, and video chat. The results are combined to give a PCMark 8 Home score for your system.

The PCMark 8 Creative benchmark includes workloads typical of enthusiasts and professionals who work with media and entertainment content. With more demanding requirements than the Home benchmark, this benchmark is suitable for mid-range computer systems. PCMark 8 Creative includes web browsing, photo editing, video editing, group video chat, media transcoding, and gaming workloads.

The PCMark 8 Work benchmark test measures your system's ability to perform basic office work tasks, such as writing documents and browsing websites. The Work benchmark is suitable for measuring the performance of typical office PC systems that lack media capabilities. For more demanding office use, run the Creative benchmark test. The results from each workload are combined to give an overall PCMark 8 Work score for your system.

Use the PCMark 8 Storage benchmark to test the performance of SSDs, HDDs and hybrid drives with traces recorded from Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and a selection of popular games. You can test the system drive or any other recognised storage device, including local external drives. Unlike synthetic storage tests, the PCMark 8 Storage benchmark highlights real-world performance differences between storage devices.

The PCMark 8 Applications benchmark measures system performance using popular applications from the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. You can choose which tests to run based on the applications installed on your system. Each test automatically steps through a series of actions such as opening, editing and saving a file. The results are used to calculate the PCMark 8 Applications scores for the system.

PCMark 8 improves on previous versions by including new battery life testing tools. The Home, Creative, Work and Applications benchmarks can be used for battery life testing. Choose Battery Life mode to loop the benchmark until the battery is almost empty to accurately measure battery life under real-world conditions. PCMark 8 even supports external instrumentation with 3rd party power measurement equipment.

New in Futuremark PCMark 8 version 2.2.282:
- Improved: SystemInfo module updated to 4.30 for improved hardware compatibility with X99 platforms.
- Fixed: Fixed Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 compatibility issue that prevented After Effects test from running.
- Professional Edition only: The command line application now checks software requirements only when needed. This enables you to run benchmarks on systems that do not meet all the requirements, for example, running the Storage benchmark on a virtualized system without DirectX 11 support.
- Professional Edition only: New command line - pass option can be used to set the number of benchmark passes. See command line guide for details.

Chris Hein - Winds is an extensive woodwinds library meeting highest expectations in regard to sound quality, expression and applicability. The library?s instruments are based upon meticulously, extensively and detailed prepared multi samples with an offering of numerous articulations and up to eight dynamic layers. Producer Chris Hein has brought his thirty years of sampling experience into this masterpiece, giving the user maximum flexibility, highest level of customization and benefit in use.

Chris Hein - Winds focuses on orchestral woodwind sounds with highest possible flexibility.

The library is arbitrarily configurable to embrace individual workflow techniques and demands of different producers. The available options and solutions take care of almost every practical application, leaving almost nothing left to be wished for - everything has been thought of! Naturally, the extensive amount of samples is handled by a powerful sample-engine, in this case Native Instruments? Kontakt Player. Expect a custom tailored user-interface and extensive scripting to respect the specific requirements of the instruments presented.

Chris Hein - Winds lives up to the expectations of woodwind lovers as well as specialists in demand of outstanding samples, comprehensive details, a complete choice of articulations and a versatile adaption to specific workflows.

The instruments can be loaded as elaborated full sample-sets, offering all articulations ready to be played on the keyboard. On the other hand, thanks to the library?s modular concept, significantly reduced versions can be called up to keep load-times fast and memory requirements low. In clean-start configuration, only a sustain-set is loaded into memory. All other articulations and functions demanding additional memory and CPU-load can be loaded with a single click whenever needed. This allows fluent and efficient work, even on compact and mobile production systems with less powerful specifications.

Chris Hein - Winds brings you orchestral woodwind sounds tailored to perfection. Besides careful recordings with high quality gear such as Neumann microphones, the musicians significantly influence the sound aesthetic. Unlike the award-winning Chris Hein - Horns, this library takes advantage of orchestra musicians being part of the renowned WDR Symphonic Orchestra.

For this library, dry close mic?ing was an intentional decision. All instruments have been recorded individually avoiding any crosstalk. However, Chris Hein - Winds factors in the inevitable interaction of orchestra musicians when creating their musical tone. Therefore, the corresponding musicians where given headphone monitoring, allowing them to play along to the other musicians. Therefore, time-dependent articulations such as Dynamic Expression receive an especial coherent tone, allowing you to combine individual instruments to perfectly matched ensembles.

The intentionally dry sound of Chris Hein - Winds allows efficient combination with the sample-engine?s dual convolution reverbs to adapt the instruments to various situations. The Kontakt Player allows a free instrument-placement in the stereo panorama. Separate convolution engines for the corpus-sound (body) and the ambience (room) allow creation of any spatial environment, ranging from close intimacy to large orchestral halls. Here, Chris Hein - Winds differs significantly from the fixed spatial characteristics of many competitors. It makes this library greatly variable and, additionally, combinable with almost any other library available.

Unique functions

Perfect dynamic transitions thanks to phase alignment

Over a research-period of six months, all samples have been fully aligned in phase. Accordingly, the instruments offer perfect seamless transitions of dynamic layers without sonic degradation.

Unique combination of short and long notes

The combination of long and short notes is a major problem in sample-libraries, that often fail to deliver authentic sounding results. With real musical instruments, the note length often influences the attack behavior as well as the note end. Chris Hein - Winds addresses these aspect by its ?Note Head Designer". Here, along with each sustain-articulation six matching shorts sample variations (Shorts) can be called up using controls or MIDI-controllers. These Shorts not only offer the corresponding correct attack-behavior but also a note-end that perfectly matches the note length. These user-defined selections of short-note-variations are available in eight dynamic layers each and can be combined with the corresponding sustained phases, leading to astonishing realistic results that cannot be achieved using random round-robin based selections. Of course, these shorts are also available as individual articulations.

True Legato

The instruments of Chris Hein - Winds offer true legato in up to four dynamic layers. For example, while playing the French Horn, the sample-engine selects between over 2,200 samples for the perfect note-transition, resulting in legato-realism simply unheard until now. At the same time, it is possible to combine these realistic combinations with additional artificial inserted legatos.

Library extend

The library?s performance-data directly reflect the immense investment of recordings and configuration possibilities. Each instrument builds upon almost 10,000 single samples, 14 articulations and up to eight dynamic layers. This makes Chris Hein - Winds the most in-depth-library of orchestral woodwinds currently available. The custom-tailored user-interface of the Kontakt Player not only offers numerous functions to adapt the library?s sound character and articulations but also offers immense configuration choices to live up to specific demands and workflows. At the same time, the library can also be effectively played without any need for deep edits. 26 pre-programmed key-switch-presets at the lower part of the keyboard (A-1 to A#1) allow fast tryouts of all available types.

Our goal with Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion was nothing less than creating the most versatile and affordable percussion library ever. With 50 instruments, 100+ articulations, and 21+ gigabytes of raw recordings, calling this collection 'comprehensive' is an understatement. Each instrument has been exhaustively sampled with up to 10x RR and 5x velocity layers, captured across three mic positions in a gorgeous orchestral hall.

Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion goes beyond the standard suite of drums (i.e. bass drum, snare, toms, cymbals) to include a wide variety of aux percussion (i.e. shaker, sleigh bells, castanets, chimes, metals, wood & temple blocks), hand drums (i.e. djembe, bongos, cajon, darbuka), and chromatic instruments (i.e. glockenspiel, xylophone, marimba, crotales, tubular bells).

Besides its scope and affordability, what else sets this library apart? Most orchestral percussion libraries strive for the ideal of "epic" through big halls and lots of reverb: a huge sound for a huge price. Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion was instead recorded & designed to function in any musical context, from small, emotional pieces, to tense underscores, and even bombastic, loud, and - yes - epic tracks.

Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion is exceptionally versatile with three user-blendable mic positions: close, stage (decca) and hall. The close mics offer a dry, present, and neutral sound with a hint of air - ideal for small ensembles and intimate scoring. Stage and hall mics provide natural, but not overwhelming, reverb and space from the lovely hall.

Each microphone position within Rhapsody can be thoroughly customized through volume, panning, stereo width, and offset controls - or disabled entirely to preserve memory. Whether your goal is a tight and focused percussion section, or something booming and epic, Rhapsody offers a natural and "honest" sound that works in any production.

Our philosophy when building instruments is to design with composers in mind. To that end, we've created a intuitive interface for the library that provides customization and control without being overly complex.

With a single button, generate a new conforming item using the goal figure's rig, complete with full morph transfer


Copy Morphs from Figure to Figure
When creating new content for Poser figures, morph transfer enables conforming clothing developers to easier support a wide array of figures and include both full body and partial body morphs that can be driven by the base figure.

Powerful Parameter Controls
To provide Poser content developers more power, display hidden parameters so they can be interactively modified. Drag and drop parameters to change channel and parameter order calculation for control of how operations such as physics simulations, morphs, bends and deformers interact.

Pixar Subdivision Surfaces
We've integrated Pixar's OpenSubdiv library to provide Pixar Subdivision Surfaces, with user definable subdivision levels per prop, figure or even individual body part. Subdivision improves bending fidelity, smooths polygonal surfaces and improves performance by enabling lighter poly-count content. Poser includes a new Unimesh skinning method to support subdivision on figures with compliant geometry.


Rendering Speed Improvements
The Firefly render engine has been optimized for faster performance when Raytracing.

Bullet Physics
Bullet Physics simulates Rigid Body dynamics, Soft Body dynamics, and dynamic strand based hair. Create rigid simulations with constraints to build complex mechanical interactions. Paint softbody constraint weights to animate. Add jiggle and bounce to any prop or character. Use the Live Simulation mode to preview dynamics in realtime, or calculate simulations to include in rendered animations.

Comic Book Preview Mode
Use Poser's exciting new Color and B&W Comic Book Preview for static or animated toon imagery. This feature will enable you to create comic art with fantastic line control and color, or clean black and white outlines with persistent shading even when rotating or animating your point of view.

9 New Human and Cartoon Figures
Also included are two new humans utilizing magnets with weight maps and polygonal detailing optimized for SubD. Seven new 3D cartoon figures with incredible facial expressions and personality, worthy of an on-screen cameo in Hollywood, are part of the included content.

Grouping Tool Improvements
Selecting polygons for group editing is easier now by painting, add or remove polygons by group or material and mirror selections across X, Y and Z axes.

Morph Brush Improvements
New Morph Brush methods make it easier to tighten, loosen, sag, flatten smooth and restore any mesh, whether it's a prop, figure or conforming figure. The new Goal feature lets you select a target to morph towards for precise fitting to any figure. Fine tune the morph creation process with the user definable Pokethrough Margin. Use arrow keys to change brush radius and magnitude.


Material Compound Nodes
Create and distribute complicated materials in a simpler fashion with Compound Nodes. Select any group of individual material nodes and combine them into a single block. Users can expand Compound Nodes to edit the individual nodes, or leave them collapsed.

نصبت لجهازي اثنين ويندوز وللأسف لا يعمل

السلام عليكم
لدي جهاز ديل n5110 i5
قمت بتركيب بالقرص سي ويندوز 32 بت
ومن ثم نزلت بالقرص دي ويندوزxp
فعند تشغيل الويندوز تظهر نافذة ويندوز xp ثم تظهر شاشة زرقاء ويغلق
دخلت لقائمة الكمبيوتر وغيرت في الساتا الى خيار
Ata
ولا زال الويندوز يعيد ولا يكمل الفتح

ممكن الطريقة الصحيحة لتنصيبهما بنجاح
