YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Installer) is a portable application designed to create a Multiboot USB Flash Drive. It can contain the multiple operating systems, antivirus utilities, disk cloning, diagnostic tools, and more. Contrary to MultiBootISOs which used grub to boot ISO files directly from USB, YUMI uses syslinux to boot extracted distributions stored on the USB device, and reverts to using grub to Boot Multiple ISO files from USB, if necessary. Aside from a few distributions, all files are stored within the Multiboot or YUMI folder (depending on version), making for a nicely organized Multiboot USB Drive that can still be used for other storage purposes. YUMI works much like Universal USB Installer, except it can be used to install more than one distribution to run from your USB.
Distributions can also be uninstalled using the same tool!
YUMI is an easy to use installer script created using NSIS. YUMI’s purpose is to help automate the creation of a bootable USB Flash Drive that can be used to boot multiple Linux based distributions (one at a time).
The end result should be a bootable USB Flash drive that will get you up and running with your chosen Live Distributions, all without having to do the research and perform the steps by hand.
YUMI utilizes a Syslinux MBR to make the chosen drive bootable. Distributions are extracted using 7zip to the multiboot folder on the USB device, and a custom syslinux.cfg file along with distro independant configuration files are used to boot each distribution. Grub4DOS grub.exe may also be used to boot ISO files directly.

– Switch to use Syslinux 6.0.3 to address ERR: Couldn’t read the first sector issues.

إن الأشخاص السعداء لا يعيشون نجاحاً تلو الآخر، ولا يعيش غير السعداء إخفاقاً تلو الآخر. وحقيقة الأمر أن كلاً من السعداء وغير السعداء يعيشون تجارب حياتية متماثلة، كما تبين الدراسات. والفارق هو أن الشخص غير السعيد يقضي أكثر من ضعف الوقت يفكر في الأحداث غير السارة في حياته، في حين أن الشخص السعيد يميل إلى البحث ويعتمد على معلومات تضيء نظرته الشخصية. إن العيش في حياة سعيدة كشخص ناضج تشبه محاولة الحصول على لعبة من قبل الطفل. وفي سبيل ذلك فأنت بحاجة إلى أن تعرف ما تريد وأن تستعمل استراتيجية للحصول على ذلك. والمؤلف يحاول مساعدة القارئ للوصول إلى مفتاح سعادته وهو يحاول الكشف عن الذي يفعله السعداء وعن الذي يميزهم من غير السعداء وذلك بتقديم الأسرار البسيطة المئة عن السعداء مشيراً إلى نتائج الأبحاث النفسية حول السعداء، وذلك بعد مراجعته لآلاف الدراسات، خلال العقد الأخير، للعلماء المستكشفين خصائص السعداء ومعتقداتهم مختاراً لهذا الغرض أفضل الدراسات والنصائح وأكثرها عملية، مستعيضاً عن اللغة الأكاديمية بنصيحة بسيطة ومفيدة: مبلوراً كل دراسة عن السعادة من محورها، معبراً عنها بطريقة يفهمها كل إنسان. وتأسيساً على النتائج العلمية للأبحاث، قدم المؤلف تلك المئة نصيحة وتلك الأمثلة حول كيفية العثور على السعادة والبقاء في سعادة التي تساعد الذين يريدون أن يعرفوا ما الذي يستطيعون أن يفعلوه للاستمتاع بالحياة أكثر. قضى كثير من العلماء والأكادميين زمناً طويلاً في البحث عن أسباب السعادة. غير أن بحوثهم بقيت دفينة نشرات علمية نائية عن أيدي العامة. وقد قام، أخيراً، عالم اجتماعي ونفسي هو ديفيد نيفين بتقطير أكثر من ألف من الدراسات الجادة التي صيغت بأساليب ومصطلحات معقدة لا تفهمها عامة الناس، تبحث في السعادة وأسبابها، فصاغها في نصائح سهلة الفهم والهضم. وقد زيّن المؤلف كل تلك الممارسات والعادات المئة بأمثلة واضحة، فأنار سبيلها بإيضاحات مباشرة من العلم الذي يقف وراءها، لكي يبين للقارئ كيف يستطيع أن يحوِّل نتائج علمية جافة وباهتة إلى حياة مفعمة بالسعادة والنشاط.
